The Lead Customer Advocate is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day customer service duties and performing advanced branch duties. These duties include accepting checking and savings deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, cashing checks, money order and cashier check sales, night depository and vault duties, as well as maintain strict compliance controls at all times. This position is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of branch operations. The Lead Customer Advocate is required to provide leadership, training, and support for their assigned Customer Advocate staff. This position promotes business for Bear State Bank by providing excellent customer service, cross-selling Bear State Bank’s products and referring customers to the appropriate team member for new services.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training and two years management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with opening depository accounts, cross selling additional bank services and/or performing file maintenance on accounts is highly preferred.
