Lead Customer Advocate

This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day customer service duties and advanced branch duties.  These duties include: accepting checking and savings deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, cashing checks, money order and official check sales, night depository duties, vault duties, maintain strict compliance controls at all times.  This position is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of branch operations.  This position is required to provide leadership, training, and support for the Customer Advocate staff.  This position promotes business for Bear State Bank by maintaining excellent customer service and cross-selling Bear State Banks’ products and referring customers to the appropriate team member for new services. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.  Hours of work may vary between locations; the hiring manager will be able to share that information with you. This position will be located in Dierks, Arkansas.

 

Minimum Requirements to include Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training and two years management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 


Customer Advocate

This position is responsible for performing routine branch and customer service duties.  These duties include:  accepting checking and savings deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, cashing checks, money order sales, cashier check sales, etc.  Required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of new accounts, customer advocate, vault, branch capture, safe deposit and branch operations.  This position promotes business for Bear State Bank by maintaining exceptional customer service, cross-selling Bear State banking products and referring customers to the appropriate team member for new services.  Other duties may be assigned as necessary.  These positions will work at both Mena locations. Hours of work may vary on weekdays and Saturday hours will be 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at either Mena location; the hiring manager will be able to share additional information with you.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 


Solutions Center Specialist

This position is responsible for handling multiple forms of customer communication and troubleshooting through any issues or sales opportunities that present themselves during the course of business. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.  Hours of work could range from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; the hiring manager will be able to share additional information with you. This position will be located at Jonesboro-Main, Arkansas.

Minimum Requirements to include Education and/or Experience:

College degree (4-year or 2-year); or high school diploma (or general education degree - GED) and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mortgage Loan Coordinator

This position is responsible for processing mortgage loans by collecting pertinent data to verify the creditworthiness of applicants and to substantiate the mortgage loan collateral.  Responsible for coordinating mortgage loan closings and preparing documents in a timely and efficient manner. Hours of work may vary between locations; the hiring manager will be able to share that information with you. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. This position will be located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mortgage Loan Originator
